The Písecké hory Nature Park is an ideal place for both hiking and cycling trips. From Písek, the trail to the Písecké hory follows the red trail. In this vast nature park, countless observation towers and hilltops are hidden. The summit of Jarník was named as such because the sun rises above it during the spring equinox. From its peak, you will have a panoramic view of Písek and the oldest stone observation tower in the Czech Republic – Kleť.
The highest mountain of the Mohelnická Highlands is Vysoký Kamýk. At its summit stands the tower of the same name, with its highest floors reaching a height of 46 meters. The view from Vysoký Kamýk allows you to observe the peaks of Šumava or the Central Bohemian Hills.
